The Namibia Charcoal Association (NCA) in collaboration with its charcoal experts has developed a new generation of kilns, called hybrid kilns.
The hybrid kilns comprise the following features:
1. Reduced smoke emissions – more environment-friendly!
2. Capturing of byproducts: Tar and Humic Acid
3. Better wood to charcoal conversion, meaning more charcoal
produced per tonne than with the traditional kilns.
NCA will be demonstrating the capabilities of the new technology through practical sessions on own briquette making for farm workers, demonstrations on making Sisha, Bio-char exhibition and much more.
Entrance is free! Call the office for registrations and directions, as well as a complete programme for the two days.
